I started my musical career in 1991 with a toddler music group, ToddlerTunes. This led on to teaching classical guitar, electronic keyboard and piano in various schools in 1995 when I finally left the world of Optics.
Twelve years later, and with a great interest in computers, I thought it might be a good idea to build a website with some information for parents and students alike. I have included information about exams, instruments, practice tips, tutor books and there are some fun games for the students. There is also information about the annual Grandma Becky concerts, it's performers and the charity it supports, Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Grandma Becky Concert
The Grandma Becky Music Concert is an annual event for the purpose of giving my students an opportunity to perform. This is a very important aspect of learning an instrument and provides excellent motivation and goal setting for students. It is also very good preparation for exams and any public appearances in the future.
It has, over the years, also provided a great opportunity for fund raising as all proceeds from each concert are donated to Great Ormond Street Childrens’ Hospital. To date we have raised £3,815.73. It feels good to be able to raise money for a children's charity with children's concerts.
